Following a hard time that saw the diagnosis of cancer and the ongoing tensions with his separated boy Prince Harry, King Charles III of Great Britain celebrated the first anniversary of his coronation on Monday.
In order to mark the occasion, gun salutes were scheduled to be fired in northern London and various locations throughout the country.
The milestone, which occurred less than a week after King Charles ‘ treatment, was not the subject of any formal occasions, though.
After doctors described his progress as “very encouraging,” he visited own cancer patients on Tuesday in a London hospital.
Given the link between his arrival and Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, the 75-year-old monarch was reportedly willing to observe the occasion with little “fuss.”
Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, crowned King Charles last year at Westminster Abbey and praised his” sense of duty.”
The prince has faced some significant private difficulties over the past year. He recently returned to his royal engagements after receiving treatment, but I was struck by his ongoing sense of duty.
He continued,” His willingness to help and aid people has been demonstrated by his openness in sharing his situation.”
King Charles ‘ personal popularity rating increased slightly to 56 % in an Ipsos poll for the Daily Mail following the anniversary.
His son and heir Prince William and his family Catherine, the Princess of Wales, were the most common members of the royal family on 69 percentage each, up 8- 10 percent since last April.

After having abdominal surgeries, which had already forced her to resign from public life, Catherine, 42, also known as Kate, made her own surprise cancer treatment in late March.
The royal household now has a lack of infantry princes due to King Charles and Catherine’s poor health, with William taking a step up to take care of his wife and family for a while.
While Prince Edward and Princess Anne, King Charles’s girl, and Queen Camilla, 76, have both taken on more significant roles, Prince Edward and Princess Anne are also playing more important roles.
However, the presence of King Charles and Catherine was made even more apparent by Harry, the king’s younger son, who is no longer a royal in operation.
Meghan Markle and Harry’s family Meghan Markle made a dramatic move to North America in 2020.
This year, Harry will travel back to the UK to watch a service honoring the tenth anniversary of his Invictus Games for service members.
He was “likely to be reunited with ( King ) Charles” at some point during his visit, according to the domestic PA agency.
A show organised by the pro- king group Republic on Sunday, however, attracted around 100 individuals in Trafalgar Square.
Protesters shouted “abdicate, abdicate” and two large banners reading “abolish the monarchy” and” change ( the ) country for good” were hung in front of an art gallery.
Tens of thousands of people crowded the streets of London last year for the crown, and there were frequent street parties.
Around the world, television images of Westminster Abbey’s ancient service were broadcast.
