The Biden presidency halted a package of American weapons bound for Israel last week for unknown reasons, according to a statement on Sunday.
Israeli officers were left scrambling as to why the sale was withheld, Axios reported, while , CNN declared , the judgement was related to U. S. antagonism to an invasion of the Hamas criminal enclave of Rafah in the southeastern Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces are receiving$ 26 billion in military and humanitarian assistance from the Biden presidency in its fight against Hamas jihadists, but officials have consistently warned against entering Rafah, where more than a million Palestinians are sheltered from the conflict.

The National Security Council said in a speech to The Hill the Biden administration’s approval of Israel has not changed, detailing:
Since the October 7 attacks, the US has increased its security assistance to Israel by billions of dollars, passed the largest optional funding authorization in history, led an unmatched coalition to defend Israel from Egyptian attacks, and will continue to do everything to help ensure that Israel may defend itself from threats.
The United States has stopped a sale of weapons intended for the Israeli government for the first time since the terrorist attack on October 7.
The White House has stated on numerous times that it does not support Israel entering Rafah.
Next month , National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan stated that it’s” no clear” that it’s also possible for Israel to own” a reliable plan” for an invasion of Rafah that the White House would help, as Breitbart News reported.

Israel has previously stated it believes the Biden Administration is” slow- walking” military aid, including urgently needed ammunition.
Israelis are determined to win the war, columnist Caroline Glick, who has long advocated for returning Israeli arms production from the U. S. to Israel, said that “50, 000” Israel volunteers would show up to build weapons, if asked.
UPADATE: The Times of Israel reports , Israel says ammunition deliveries are continuing as normal.
Speaking to Ynet, an Israeli official downplayed the Axios report, saying” Even now, a continued series of defense shipments are being sent from the U. S. to Israel”.
The official continued,” We’re not aware of a policy decision to stop it,” adding that “it’s possible that one shipment or another is delayed, but the flow continues.”
Israeli government spokesman David Mencer told Breitbart News on Monday that he had not seen reports of U.S. ammunition being suspended.
