I made the brave choice.
In a speech over the weekend, sexual activities advocate Riley Gaines urged Adrian College graduates to get brave.
Morris, a former University of Kentucky diver, shared her story of taking on the transgender plan after competing against William” Lia” Thomas.
Thomas, a University of Pennsylvania diver, is a man who began calling himself a feminine and competing against women’s sports.
At the completion service, Gaines said,” I decided I would stand up for truth without compromise, both in a bible and objective feel,” adding that she was waiting for someone else to take the place.
” I wanted to be liked. She said,” I had two thoughts before speaking on a subject that was considered contentious, as I imagine some of you do or have done.” ” But I chose to remain courageous”.
Morris told the Protestant school in Michigan,” Courage is a virtue that’s frequently misunderstood, frequently being confused with bravery.”
A school LGBT group objected to the college’s choice of Gaines, demanding that she be removed.
According to the petition, Gaines ‘ selection was “inappropriate but also discredits the graduates who may be in alliance with or a part of the LGBTQIA + community,” as previously reported by The College Fix.
And 1984 doctoral” Channing” McKee, a man who says he is a woman, said Gaines is nasty. She only hates transgender individuals and has nothing to say about it. That’s her text”, McKee told Michigan Advance.
Gibson addressed the complaint seeking to “disinvite” her during the conversation.
What terrifies you the most? Having your ideas challenged? Being encouraged to engage in separate thought”, she asked.
She said,” Everyone really cherish the right to freedom of expression and thought.”

During her conversation Gaines said,” courage is contagious”.
” It inspires and uplifts. Perhaps you accept each new issue as an option, not shy away from danger and stay true to your faith”, she said. ” Build your course with both modesty and courage”.
Morris claimed that she has continued in her Christian beliefs.
” My belief is key in all that I do”, Gaines said.
” Faith is n’t just a set of beliefs, but the transformative principle that influences our actions, shapes our worldview, and leads us in times of both uncertainty and triumph”, she said shortly after.
She told the graduates to consider the “lessons” of “faith” when facing problems in the liberal world.
” In those times, remember that trust is the assurance of things hoped for, the judgment of things no seen”, she said, quoting the Bible.
She described how her belief helped in the struggle against transsexuals.
” So as you move into a world that often seems guided solely by the pursuit of personal gain, or quick satisfaction, the rules of Christian faith give a different way, one illuminated by the light of company, humility, and sympathy”.
” Be daring in your dreams, resolute in your agreements, and good in your love”.
