Moscow has claimed that the Russian military district accountable for occupying eastern Ukraine will use tactical nuclear weapons to listen to “inflammatory claims… by some European officials.”
Russia claims that it will “practice using non-strategic nuclear arms” by launching a nuclear incitement of its own while engaging in Western actions. Also known as defensive weapons, the lower- deliver nuclear bombs are intended for battlefield use to eliminate opposing armies and fortifications, rather than whole cities or industries, as with lengthy- range proper missiles.

The suggestion then caused a near-panic in some western cities, particularly Berlin, who had been carefully weighing their military donations to Kyiv in order to keep the conflict from escalating. Italy has been particularly scathing of Macron’s belligerent rhetoric, accusing him of gambling with war to improve his poll ratings, and again this weekend calling him “dangerous” and “desperate”.
Russia’s Medvedev made threats today in response to such remarks, saying that sending troops to the “ex-” former Ukraine would “mean direct engagement of their countries in war, and we will have to respond … none of them will be able to hide either on Capitol Hill, in the Elysée Palace, or in Downing Street, 10 .” It will be a global catastrophe”.
Over the course of the Ukraine war, Peskov threatened Armageddon in response to seemingly minor errors, becoming almost routine.
