Former US president Donald Trump is now being cautious because he does n’t want to be imprisoned for breaking the gag order in his New York business record trial, according to CNN host Kaitlan Collins, on” Anderson Cooper 360.”
Cooper continued,” I just want to learn what the judge actually said to Trump today. He said,’ Mr. Trump, it’s important to know that the last thing I want to do is put you in prison. You were and may be the future president of the United States. I’ve been in prison for a long time, and there are many causes for that. To get that step may be problematic to these deliberations, which I imagine you want to stop as quickly as possible.’ Only socially, Kaitlan, what do what would this imply”?
Collins said,” I mean, the discussion is that Trump would love it because he would be able to argue what he has been arguing all the time in court that he is being socially persecuted around and cannot use his second amendment rights.”
She continued,” The idea that Donald Trump had really want to go to prison is absurd. Anyone who knows him knows that he does n’t even like to stay in a hotel when he goes on foreign trips, when he would n’t as president. It took a lot of effort to truly convince him to spend the night somewhere.
Collins added,” So this concept that he really does need to do this for the optics perspective, I mean, when you speak to his closest advisers and allies, they’ll claim that’s totally significantly- fetched. Do they think it would work to their advantages? Although it may be politically influenced, I do believe Donald Trump is being disrespected because it never does, which is really what is said. And he keeps recognizing that he is being careful whenever he enters that court, also if he is lying about what the gag get truly says.
