In the recording, a gun rings out before a person is heard yelling,” Oh fuck”! therefore adding,” You’re not dead! You’re not useless”!
According to authorities, the shooting also featured two witnesses. Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Ackerman, the criminal’s lawyer, claimed the criminal lied to authorities about what exactly happened when they arrived at the scene and interrogated her during the perpetrator’s bond hearing on April 5.
She reportedly claimed that she heard a knock and that the friend had allegedly been arguing with the target about a person and that she had just heard a bang.
However, the Post article claims that the girl held the target at gun and shot him while” the companion told officers a different story, alleging it was Babin who had taken his 9mm handgun from his bedroom.” She is even accused of calling 911 after tossing the weapon into the Kenduskeag River.
After being taken to a nearby hospital, the target was later declared dead.
The friend claimed Babin was trying to scare them, but it’s unknown what caused the killing. The Post report claimed that despite the lack of a newspaper inside the gun, a bullet was still lodged in the room.
After the killing, Babin appeared in court on video, and according to the WABI statement, it took him about 30 minutes to dial 911 for assistance.
