EL PASO, Texas ( Border Report )— The U. S. Border Patrol on Wednesday confirmed that shots were fired from Mexico toward officials in El Paso’s Lower Valley.
An organization official said the tragedy happened in San Elizario, Texas, near International Marker 51 of the boundary wall.
The El Paso Sector officials claimed that the shots were fired just until 5 p.m. MST.
The Border Patrol claimed to have notified and requested Mexican authorities to search for the shooter or attackers.
There were no accidents.
