Independent voters are not buying the establishment media’s claim that former President Donald Trump is a greater threat to democracy than President Joe Biden, according , to the , latest NPR/PBS News Hour/Marist poll.
According to the ballot, Biden poses a greater threat to democracy than Trump, with a majority of separate voters:
- Biden: 53 cent
- Trump: 42 percentage
The surveys sampled 1, 199 American from April 22- 24 with a 3.6 place margin of error.

The surveys is the latest case of Trump’s improving polling range among Biden’s important demographics.
Another significant demographic that had formerly favored Biden was reversed by Trump’s dominance of suburban people, according to an ABC News/Ipsos poll in May.
In April 2023, 54 , percentage of light residential people supported Biden and 41 percentage supported Trump, a , Wall Street Journal , poll , found — a , 13- point , space that has since , closed.
Democrat gains among those parties of , citizens deteriorated to the lowest level in 60 times, polling from Gallup and Siena College recently , revealed.
Thirty percent of black people and 11 percent of black people intend to vote for Trump in 2024,  , Journal , polling , found in April.
Just 12 percent of black people voted for Trump in 2020, voting data shows. No dark men’s poll in 2020 is compatible with that. In 2020, six , percent of black people said they would vote for Trump,  , Associated Press polling , found, five factors less than the , Journal’s 2024 voting.
Among Hispanics, Trump leads Biden by five points ( 39- 34 percent ), up 33 points (32 percent – 65 percent ) since 2020, a recent , USA Today/Suffolk University poll , showed.
