On Wednesday, extreme Palestinian protesters slammed the National tech entrepreneur Peter Thiel for allegedly facilitating “genocide” by conducting business with the Israeli military and even” trapped” him in the Cambridge Union.
Thiel, the co-founder of PayPal and Palantir Technologies, who provide technology to the Israel Defense Forces ( IDF), was attacked during a speech at a debating and free speech forum by three pro-Palestinian activists who stood up and made an accusation against him for being a compatriod in Gaza. The occasion was more disorganized as protesters blocked the entrance to the tower, preventing Thiel from leaving the building, while the stalkers were taken from the Cambridge Union’s house.

The Germanic- born American tech banker’s cars were likewise prevented from leaving the Cambridge Union by activists for over an hour,  , Cambridge University’s student papers Varsity information.

In a speech, the communist party Youth Desire, which claimed responsibility for the event, said:  ,” Story will not be kind to those who aided and abetted the crimes of the Jewish state. Palanir is proud to support Israel in bombing hospitals where hundreds of Arab people ‘ bodies were discovered in large graves with hands tied and health tube still attached.
Universities should cut ties with the Jewish death machine and demand an instant two-way arms embargo, according to the statement.
Thiel, a well-known economic supporter of Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, apparently made fun of the communist agitators as he suddenly left the building, laughing at them while filming from his mobile,  , according to The Telegraph.

Defending the actions of the pupils,  , Paul Seagrove, the Communications Manager at the Cambridge Union Society, told Business Insider on Thursday:  ,” Since our establishment in 1815, the Cambridge Union Society’s primary rule is that of freedom of speech and the open exchange of ideas.
We support the right for our listeners and individuals to voice their opinions in this same spirit as well. Next night’s event demonstrated this lengthy- position tradition of the society.”
Following the example of activists at Colombia and Harvard in the United States and European protesters at the Sorbonne and Sciences Po colleges, students at Cambridge and Oxford are staging tent encampments on the grounds of prominent English universities to rally Israel.
At Cambridge, the student group leading the protest , accused , the university of supporting” Israel’s genocide of Palestinians in Gaza”.
Students have demanded that Cambridge disclose any financial or professional ties with” complicit “organisations, divest funds from those who support Israel and” reinvest “in” Palestinian students, academics, and scholars”. They then demanded that Cambridge cease to be” a sanctuary” for students in need.

Meanwhile, the largest Jewish student union in the country, the National Union of Jews ( NUS), delegates at a conference in Blackpool on Wednesday uncovered that members of the Jewish Chronicle newspaper in the UK had voted to have UJS, the largest Jewish student union in the country, be expelled because of its support for Israel.
The move was made as a swastika was discovered in a conference toilet stall and as students asserted that the Jewish state was the result of “racist ideology and” ethnic cleansing,” according to the paper. Additionally, students urged the” colonial project” to end and the Israeli state to be destroyed.
The NUS ultimately apologized and said the vote was “unconstitutional,” blaming the decision as “outside our guidelines and rules.”
However, former universities minister, Conservative MP Robert Halfon said:” The NUS said they have changed, but it is same old, same old. The issue is whether or not NUS practices antisemitism. It is up to them to prove otherwise. The treatment of UJS will be a seminal example.”
