On Friday’s spread of Bloomberg’s” Balance of Power”, Rep. John Garamendi ( D- CA ) stated that America wants” to continue to be” Israel’s best alliance but” the Biden administration, and surely I do believe here, has a very strong disagreement with how Israel is conducting the war in Gaza. And so, if Israel wants to go ahead and complete whatever it’s doing, regardless of the American place, there will be effects, and that will be seen in the Congress and certainly seen in the behavior of the management”.
According to Garamendi, “one concern is whether the United States should continue to supply offensive arms that Israel has incorrectly and barbarously used in Gaza, which the management has paused and, at this point, appears to have never intend to allow any more of those arms to be sent into Israel.” That is one factor. The second thing is, surely, Israel has the right to support itself, but it does not have the right to make a humanitarian crises. Thus, this conflict’s mode of operation is in dispute. You Israel simply ignore the United States, as the second component of it entails? That would not be a wise choice for Israel, in my opinion. The Biden administration has a pretty strong disagreement with how Israel is conducting the conflict in Gaza, despite the fact that the United States has been its main ally for more than 60 years and we want to stay that way. And so, if Israel wants to go ahead and complete whatever it’s doing, regardless of the American place, there will be effects, and that will be seen in the Congress and certainly seen in the behavior of the management”.
