NEW DELHI: Three flight attendants ‘ assistance helped to resolve a mid-air conflict between two people on EVA Air Flight BR08’s journey from Taipei to San Francisco. The event, which unfolded three time into the 12- hours trip, began over a seats debate and escalated into a real fight.
According to EVA Air’s speech to CNN, the battle started when one rider, who was coughing, prompted another to find a different desk. However, this test to switch seats caused a physical confrontation between the two men involved, because the chosen chair was already filled.
The quick answer by the three female flight servants, with help from other people, helped deescalate the situation, allowing the aircraft to continue and get on day in San Francisco. The airport praised the crew’s efficient handling of the situation and praised its “zero tolerance policy toward incidents of passenger problem.”
The destructive travellers were then turned over to the San Francisco officers for further investigation upon landing. Additionally, EVA Air stated that it intends to give rewards to the team members for their actions during the event.
Following a 2019 controversy involving improper needs made by a customer toward adult flight attendants, this event is another significant event for EVA Air. Since then, EVA has updated its hiring procedures to encompass men on the cabin crew in an effort to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.
