Senate Republicans claim that President Joe Biden’s opening of Obamacare rolls for illegal aliens who are eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals ( DACA ) program is “unjust and economically unsustainable for millions of American citizens.”
Last week,  , Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services ( HHS) issued a final rule to open Obamacare to DACA illegal aliens, even as about 25 million Americans are uninsured. HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra had much supported the program.
The program is anticipated to cost American taxpayers about$ 300 million annually.
In a text to Becerra, Sens. Marsha Blackburn ( R- TN), Mike Lee ( R- UT), J. D. Vance ( R- OH), and Kevin Cramer ( R- ND ) called the plan “unsustainable” for working and middle class Americans.
The Biden administration’s next priority is to fix the made border crisis, they write.” At a time when our country has endured record amounts of illegal immigrants crossing the southern borders, this statement sends a clear message,” they write.
In Biden’s market, inflation is on the increase while job growth is slowing down. The number of foreign-born personnel entering the workforce is at a two-year higher. The costs of housing and happiness for illegal immigrants are already being footed by American taxpayers. And then, President Biden is asking these same hard, tax-paying Americans to foot the bill for the health treatment of illegal immigrants with this mistaken rule. For millions of Americans, this new legislation is not only unfair, but it also has an unworkable economic impact. ]Emphasis added]
President Biden claims to be the advocate for immigrant children when he makes the announcement. However, under your view, this administration has really lost track of over 85, 000 immigrant youngsters, many of whom have been trafficked and subjected to unsafe and manipulative situations. Based on your earlier parliamentary evidence, it is obvious that you have no desire to find these innocent kids. Otherwise, your primary priority—evidenced by your statement of this health care freebie to immigrants—is to divert from President Biden’s national security and humanitarian crises occurring at the border. The last thing this leadership should be doing is offering free health care to refugees when the country’s borders are available and our people ‘ cards are in trouble. The British people deserve answers to this fatal plan. ]Emphasis added]
By May 15, the Senators are requesting information from Becerra regarding how many DACA improper aliens may be permitted to engage in Obamacare, how much it will cost, and whether these plans may be extended to friends of illegal aliens.
The Senators have also questioned Becerra about HHS’s plans to offer Obamacare to” the nearly 10 million illegal immigrants who have flooded across the border who are not DACA recipients”?
Already, American taxpayers are forced to , subsidize , at least$ 18.5 billion  , of annual medical costs for illegal aliens living in the United States, according to estimates by Chris Conover, formerly of the Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research at Duke University.
