JERUSALEM: According to the Israeli army, four soldiers were killed on Friday when a “explosive system” exploded near a college in Gaza City.
The military claimed that” the four soldiers were killed in the same tragedy, at an explosion site in Zeitoun, a Gaza City neighborhood.”
In a statement, the government said that two additional men were” really hurt” in the fire, including an agent.
Individually, the Israeli government reported that two men had been taken to a hospital for treatment after being seriously hurt in southern Gaza.
A number of military organizations claimed a range of problems in Gaza in statements released on Friday.
The Al- Quds Brigade, the military aircraft of Islamic Jihad, said it “detonated a discipline of mines and large- violent ground devices” in the Zeitoun village.
Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s arm-band, claimed to have attacked Jewish soldiers in Rafah, a town with a high level of military tension, on Tuesday.
Since the Israeli military launched its floor offensive on October 27 and its latest deaths total 271 more than the losses it has suffered in the Gaza campaign.
The battle began with Hamas’s extraordinary October 7 assault on Israel, which resulted in the deaths of more than 1, 170 people, mainly residents, according to an AFP tally of Jewish official statistics.
Israel’s hostile offensive has killed at least 34, 904 people in Gaza, mainly women and children, according to the Hamas- run state’s health ministry.
