
A 13-year-old girl was shot by a vehicle owner on Tuesday morning in Chicago, according to Chicago police, supposedly trying to steal the vehicle.
Police updated info on the event, saying that the owner shot at the 13- year- older girl and a 14- year- older boy who was reportedly with her,  , according to ABC 7.
A bullet hit the girl “in the straight side of her body” and she was taken to the hospital, where she was “in firm state”.
The owner’s sister, who authorities say shot at the alleged car criminals, claimed that she and her girl” caught two young children stealing her vehicle and breaking in her car.” They busted out a glass”.
She mentioned that her sister has a FOID cards and works as a security guard.
According to The Chicago Tribune, the 13-year-old girl and 14-year-old son were both facing juvenile charges for “attempting to possess a stolen car and criminal damage to property price less than$ 500.”
