LOS ANGELES ( AP ) — Sam Rubin, a beloved entertainment anchor and reporter for KTLA in Los Angeles who was on a first- name basis with Hollywood’s top stars, has died. He was 64.

” I was often delighted to see Sam, even if I was on my 85th meeting that day. Ryan Reynolds posted on X on his 85th meeting that time,” Yet if HE was on his 85th meeting that day, he usually brought real kindness, interest, and an outside-the-box problem.
No one was more upbeat about Sam Rubin than he was about his work. Sam has been with me most of my profession, and every day as he began his day-to-day tasks, Jamie Lee Curtis wrote on Instagram.” Every night, he had a mild in his eyes.
Born in San Diego, Rubin graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles. He received numerous awards from regional information organizations, including a Southeastern California Broadcasters Association lifetime achievement award.
