Senator J. D. Vance ( R- OH) said Sunday on CNN’s” State of the Union” that the United States should help Israel to finish the job of ending Hamas.
According to Vance,” I believe the Biden presidency is having two major issues.” First of all, it’s a ultimately incoherent policy on the one hand because they claim that too many Palestinian civilians have died while the other hand is being detained by Israelis as a result of their use of precision-guided weapons, which actually reduce civilian casualties. But if you’re worried about Israeli casualties, these stated scheme here actually does n’t produce a ton of feeling”.
He continued,” The underlying problem here, is the Israelis have a goal in mind. Has killed numerous idf citizens, starting a war against Hamas. and now that they’re 80 % defeated, they’re throwing up their hands and saying, brother. Yes, civilian deaths in Palestine are a real problem, and our thoughts are with them. we have to ask ourselves, why are israeli civilian deaths so great? Hamas started the war, and then hides behind Arab residents, is why. but if you want to learn the lessons, i consider of the last 40 years, the most important thing is we have to fight Hamas as a viable a military organization. You’re never going to beat the philosophy of Hamas, but you can source out those leaders, those last military trained battalions. I believe we may give Israelis more authority to do it.
Vance continued,” We should aim to help the Israelis establish a positive relationship with Saudi Arabians and other Gulf Arab says.” Without the Israelis completing the task with Hamas, there is no means we can accomplish that. If they ca n’t even do that, the attitude of the Middle East will be, you ca n’t trust these guys. They’re never pursuing their individual national security. So we must let them complete this task, but I believe that two new eras will emerge in the Middle East on the other conclusion.
