In honor of Eastern American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, former president Donald Trump was the subject of episodes from President Joe Biden.
Biden recalled Trump’s administration during the COVID-19 epidemic and the dramatic rise in hate crimes against Asians. In the epidemic, when vaccinations were scheduled to be widely available, Biden entered office at a pivotal moment.
” I’ll never neglect him lying about the pandemic”, Biden said at the celebration. ” I’ll never forget the fall of extra- Asian hate acts during the pandemic” . ,
In 2020, there will be a 76 % increase in hate crimes committed against Asian Americans. Biden attempted to address it by signing regulations during his first season as president.
” I’m happy to have signed this COVID- 19 Hate Crimes Act with your help”, Biden said at the celebration.  ,
Trump’s comments about immigrants and his efforts to reverse the Affordable Care Act were also criticized by him.
” While we fight for comprehensive immigration reform, he calls refugees rapists and murderers. He says they are not people”, Biden said. ” He says refugees are’ poisoning the heart of our state.’ Folks, my father envisioned a nation meant for some of us only. We all want a state.
Biden’s comments were reportedly made by the Trump plan, according to The Washington Examiner.
Biden even praised his proper- hand lady, Vice President Kamala Harris, who is the first North Asian American to hold the position.
” My name is Joe Biden, and I work for Kamala Harris”, Biden said, using a line he usually saves for his wife, Jill. I asked her to serve as my evil president because I knew I needed a more intelligent person.
Early on Monday, Harris gave diverse counsel to another minority politicians.
