In Yucaipa, two Fontana officers officers pulled over a dark sport utility vehicle, and a female officer inquired about what appeared to be the missing front license plate. The official chuckled when the officer claimed he had formerly been arrested for having unlawful fireworks while the two talked about camping in the winter.
The officer asked the driver, whom authorities identified as Alan Metka, 56, to step out of his car. His companion, a female agent, had touch him down to make sure he did not have any arms on him.
The female officer searched him, remarking on their apparent top change, as the man officer returned to his authorities car to operate Metka’s information.
Moments later, a cry rang out:” He’s got a firearm”!
” Let her go! Letting her go”! the female official yelled as he ran toward his companion, who was being held in a chokehold.

The female officer shot Metka near the neck during the fight at Yucaipa Boulevard and 14th Street, according to Fontana Police Chief Michael Dorsey in a observed statement that was shared with the movie. A compressed semiautomatic handgun was taken from Metka’s jeans bag, he said.

According to San Bernardino County jail records, Metka is being detained at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga on suspicion of assaulting a police officer with a deadly weapon, resisting an senior officer, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The event is being investigated by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and District Attorney’s office, Dorsey said. The Fontana Police Department, he said, “is even conducting a parallel operational research, and we are cooperating entirely with the investigating companies”.
Dorsey said that Metka has an “extensive legal history”, with previous arrests for abuse with a dangerous tool, carjacking, assault, possession of an incendiary design and illegal firearms hands.
Metka , was also arrested in 2021 , at a petrol station in Fontana, where he was reportedly found with some illegal firearms , and tube weapons, according to the Rialto Police Department.
