Four gunmen “attacked an insane assault” that left two officers dead and three injured when a convicted gang named Mohamed Amra was taken from a prison caravan.
On Tuesday night, four militants in two vehicles ambushed a fleet of government cars carrying a convicted criminal from court to jail in France. France ‘s , Le Parisien reports the target of the hack is 30- year- ancient Mohamed Amra, whose city brand is’ The Fly ‘.
The man is reported to have been convicted of burglary on , May 10th and was also facing charges of “kidnapping … leading to death” and “attempted homicide by an organized gang”. Per that publication’s police resources, he is “described as being at the mind of a cocaine network”. Additionally,  , Amra is reported to have attempted a prison break last year, and had already been placed under increased protection.
The attack on the prison guards who were escorting Amra from a jury in Rouen and Évreux prison, which was described as a commando-roof, saw two automobiles ambush the fleet at a burden street give hall. A black car struck the lead car head-on in the photos taken from the field.
The getaway car was immediately abandoned and burned, with the owners thought to have moved onto a different, unidentified car.
Video footage reportedly of the invasion, shared by a member of Parliament on X/Twitter, present hoodie- wearing men carrying longer guns. There is laughing audible in the picture, which was apparently shot by a member of the public while prison officers were being killed from a coach for passengers.
The investigation is now being handled by the French National Office for the Combat against Organized Crime, which is charged with “murder and attempted murder by an organized gang… the acquisition and possession of weapons of war, criminal conspiracy with a view to the commission of a crime” ( ).
Some state figures have decried the assault, including French , Prime Minister Gabriel Attal who called it an “attack of extraordinary murder” by “brutal” perpetrators. He revealed that three other people had been hurt, including two who were in critical, life-threatening condition in addition to the two prison officers who had died, both of whom had left a wife after five months of pregnancy.
President Emmanuel Macron said:” Everything is being done to find the perpetrators of this crime so that justice can be done in the name of the French people” while , Minister of Justice Éric Dupond- Moretti said the lives of the perpetrators was now “worth nothing” and they would soon be punished, reports , Le Figaro.
Operation Sparrowhawk, a special state of emergency created by the French government, frees officers from their other responsibilities to assist in the search for the escaped convict and his gunman liberators. Officers are reportedly conducting searches on hundreds of officers.
