Robert De Niro, an actor, claimed that former president Donald Trump and his supporters were enraged and hated on ABC’s” The View” on Tuesday.
Co-host Sunny Hostin said,” Some people have criticized you because you’ve been opened about your opposition to Donald Trump and the risks he poses to democracy. You reportedly declared that you wanted to punch him in the face. However, he is currently in the lead in five battleground state in the elections. Any suggestions for the Biden battle or the electorate? What are you thinking”?
Heavily censored, De Niro said,” Well, I think I do n’t understand why people are not taking him seriously. Because you’ve read about it historically in other nations, you’ll understand why they did n’t treat the people seriously. I think of Hitler and Mussolini,’ Oh, they’re idiots and idiots.’ I hear it from some individuals. Who, after all, does n’t believe that this guy will carry out his promises? He’s done it now. And then what? We’re going to sit about and state, what,’ We told you thus?'”
He continued,” It’s going to occur. If he gets elected, it’s going to transform this land for everyone. They may think that it’s going to make their life better, or they just want to, excuse my French, they just want to f— , with the rest of the state. Actually, those people who support him with indignation and hate — because that’s what he’s about — they’re going to see”.
He added,” I used to see these things, I did n’t understand how he and Rosie O’Donnell used to get into it. I did n’t really care.  , I see what a nasty, imply- passionate, terrible point he is … He’s cruel. Why wo n’t he do that in this nation? He’s now done it. When I said I want to blow him in the face, it’s because of what he said to a person, a spectator at one of his demonstrations. They are about to receive a punch in the face. You do n’t talk that way to people. Who or what does that mean?
De Niro said,” It’s almost like he wants to do the worst that he could perhaps do to demonstrate this country, to , f— , with us. His slogan does been’ F— America, I want to f— America.'”
Co- number Whoopi Goldberg said,” And the other factor is if he becomes president suddenly, he is not going to never stop being leader. You understand this? His plan is to remain there until he dies.
De Niro said. ” That’s it. He’s not even conceding it then but imagine if he really did win the election, it’s around. We’re going to have for civil conflict. Because everyone is then watching him as he projects what he says, he says it all. It’s what he wants, what he envisions the world to be, which is panic and madness, full craziness”.
