Senator J. D. Vance ( R- OH) said Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s” The Story” that former President Donald Trump’s New York City business record trial is “bogus”, and he went Monday to” support a friend”.
Vance said,” I was there to help a friend. Aside from the social ramifications of this trial, which we will undoubtedly bring up, I believe it is a very sad way to spend five or six weeks of your life knowing you are innocent. Donald Trump is aware of this fact. So , recognizing that sometimes , it’s a little bit depressed to , set up there by yourself, I , offered to come in and even,  , you know, just become a friendly , experience in the court. That’s all I wanted to accomplish and , that’s what I think you see , so many people coming and , showing their support for the , leader because he actually , like what he stands for. I , think that this test is , pitiful and they want to , show some assistance to a colleague. I , think there is a good , item and an excellent thing”.
Host Martha MacCallum said,” Some of the , morning shows were digging at you”.
MSNBC’s Willie Geist said, “J. D. Vance is a United States Marine for God’s purpose, where it’s all about pride. And it’s very sad to watch them actively outrage on behalf of the person, who they presumably want to be evil president or to sever the energy, or something similar.
MacCallum said,” What do you say to them about that demand”?
Vance continued,” I think these people live in their own balloon where those who disagree with them disagree with them for some malicious reason, never because they believe Joe Scarborough and his entire host of customers are stupid.” And that’s really what’s going on around, Martha. These circumstances, in my opinion, are false.  , Especially the situation in New York”.
He added,” We , have the judge presiding over , the trial, his daughter had , made millions of dollars , fundraising for Democratic , causes. So this is obviously , absurd and I think the , faith or acquittal , either manner, the American , individuals see this is a fake and , rightly so”.
