Hailey Davidson’s try to become the first transgender athlete to win the U.S. Women’s Open has sparked anger among competitors and fans.
According to Fox News, Davidson was named the initial alternative on Monday after placing third in the qualifying sessions.

A male-born person was added to children’s professional golf, according to several LPGA pros.
Pro Dana Fall, for one, took aim at Davidson in a reaction to an X post by the Independent Council on Women’s Sports.
” I’m not sure what the U. S. WOMENS Open is anymore because I do n’t understand what a woman ( sic ) is anymore”, Fall wrote.

Track &, Field performer Carilyn Johnson, who was on the U. S. National 24 Hour running crew, also blasted the USGA.
” USGA saying’ If men ca n’t win in the male category, we support them playing in the women’s category where they have a better shot, because men should never have to accept defeat. Ever”, she wrote.

Johnson also pointed out that if men can “identify” as a woman, then women do n’t have a sport and that the left is “actively working to erase women”.
” Only build your own teams”! they say.
We ca n’t. That is the issue. If men are allowed to just recognize as “women”, and the state supports it, there is no such thing as a “female simply” sports competition.

A trans player must have transitioned for a year before beginning to compete, have undergone transition surgery, and have maintained testosterone levels appropriate for the assigned sex in a verifiable manner and for a sufficient length of time to minimize gender-related advantages in sport competitions, as recommended by the USGA in consultation with its medical consultant( s ).
From May 30 through June 2, the Lancaster Country Club in Pennsylvania will host the children’s available.
