Anti-Israel protesters who are a part of a Princeton University camp revealed that the encampment may be available for its final day on Wednesday.
The Princeton Israeli Apartheid Divest ( PIAD ) organization stated in a letter to Google Documents that their “fight for divestment and Palestinian liberation” is still unrestrained and that the end of its three weeks of establishment would be May 15.
The Princeton Gaza Solidarity Encampment is available for its final time on May 15, 2024, which is 222 times since Israel’s murder in Gaza and a year into its conquest of Rafah. Our struggle for Israeli independence and divestment is unbroken, according to the letter from PIAD.
The email comes after Princeton University President Christopher Eisgruber informed individuals that activists may leave the camp, according to the Daily Princetonian, in an email sent on Monday.
President Eisgruber and the school administration increased their coercion by pressuring the camp to similar monday, the day before Nakba Day, according to the PIAD in the email. ” Today, we hold our place to remember the Nakba of 76 times and honor the political and cultural sensitivity of Palestine, including our small contribution to it,” the statement reads.
Palestinians observe Nakba Day, the day of” catastrophe”, on May 15th, when about 700, 000 Palestinians were displaced after the State of Israel was created in 1948.
While Palestinians see the day as a crisis, they , revolted against the English and supported the Nazis. On the night of May 14, Palestinians launched an attack on Israel, which was followed by an invasion from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Egypt, resulting in the first Muslim- Israel war.
