On Monday, the pro-Hamas” campaign” at Cornell University abruptly ended without the police’s approval and without the college administration’s approval. The individuals simply made the decision to take a summer split.
The , Cornell Daily Sun reported:
The Coalition for Mutual Liberation deliberately took down its pro- Palestine camp on Monday, two and a half months after it was initially , erected , on April 25.
…
As the camp held a last vigil for the life lost in Rafah starting at 6 p.m. Monday, about 250 supporters circled the unique” Liberated Zone” area, which is no longer surrounded by a dark blanket. Rafah, Gaza Strip’s southernmost town, has  , seen , heightened Israeli assault and businesses over the past year, with the Jewish military buying groups to remove areas of the city.
As protesters discussed the significance of the encampment for both themselves and the Palestinian people, supporters held little candles. Supporters gathered at the end of a human ring, akin to the one created on the camp’s opening day. Followers had , surrounded , members on April 25 as they passed the 8 p. m. date to depart, a threshold marked with threats of intellectual droplets from officials.
Another campuses, somewhat Columbia University and the University of California Los Angeles, just ended their “encampments” after aggressive confrontations with authorities, some, like Harvard, Northwestern, and UC- Riverside, saw administrations succumb to student demands.
But Cornell’s “encampment” simply decided to pack up and leave.
No small surprise was caused by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency’s coverage of the Cornell concentration camp’s conclusion:” No deals were struck. No arrests were made. The students simply left on their own accord.
The main point sounded clear:” Classes ended a week ago, and students are now taking final exams, which will end next week.”
