State national funerals are five times long and are divided into three different stages. The second step includes ceremonies in the position where the former president once resided, and the next stage includes ceremonies in Washington, D.C.
To start the ceremonies in Washington, D. C., the dying government’s body may lie in condition, meaning it will remain in the Capitol rotunda so the public does pay their respects. Prior to the death, a march usually travels down Pennsylvania Avenue. However, the parade has undergone versions, such as when Ford requested that no horses be present and a parade that bypassed Alexandria.
