According to FBI data, more than 100 000 law enforcement officers have been victims of workplace assault in the past two years, and more than 100 000 have died in the last three years than any other time in the last 20 years.
A surprising 194 officers were killed in a murderous manner between 2021 and 2023, more than in any other subsequent three-year period in recent memory, according to a specific report released on Tuesday by the FBI.
A complete of 79, 091 soldiers were assaulted in 2023, according to reports from law enforcement organizations across the nation, making that figure the highest official assault charge in the past ten years.
