The , Atomic Energy Organization of Iran ( AEOI ) offered to share the nation’s nuclear “expertise” with any country seeking to develop a nuclear program on Wednesday, the latest in a string of provocative comments by Iranian officials, including one claiming Tehran already has a nuclear bomb.
Behrouz Kamalvandi, an AEOI spokesman, claimed that Iran has been working on its nuclear technology for 50 years and that it is hoping to collaborate with the international community at a seminar aimed at boosting ties with Arab states. The program- run PressTV advertising store claimed that , he suggested the industry of “radiopharmaceuticals” as one specially prepared for global cooperation, omitting discussion of weapons.
Kamalvandi reportedly acknowledged that Iran’s relations with the International Atomic Energy Agency ( IAEA ), the UN’s oversight body for nuclear science, had gotten more complicated recently, but attributed the situation to “political” intrusions into scientific development.
” Iran has 50 years of history and knowledge in the atomic industry and has been able to train several experts and professionals”, PressTV quoted , Kamalvandi as saying. Iran is prepared to work closely with other nations to move its nuclear expertise and technology, especially those that are close by. We extend the connection to each state.
Kamalvandi continued,” We paid a lot for the nuclear industry in our nation because we did not obtain it effortlessly.” The official “pointed to Israel’s death of Iranian researchers and its functions of professional and cyber-sabotage aimed at stifling the Islamic Republic’s nuclear improvement,” according to PressTV.
The store did not specify, but , Kamalvandi appeared to be referring to the 2020 death of , Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the world’s best nuclear professor, in 2020. Iranian officials initially blamed unknown “terrorists” for Fakhrizadeh’s dying. A year later, the quit- wing , New York Times claimed the Jewish Mossad intelligence company used a machine machine gun to kill the scientist.
Iran is a radical Islamist dictatorship that routinely threatens the genocidal , loss of its cousin, Israel. Iran’s nuclear activities, most notably the enrichment of uranium, have long been under the radar of global nuclear authorities, raising concerns that it is trying to build a bomb in an effort to meet its threats to destroy Israel.
Member of Parliament Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani said in an interview with Iranian media this trip that he believes Iran currently has nuclear weapons.
” In my opinion, we have achieved radioactive arms, but we do not reveal it. It implies that our policy is to possess nuclear weapons, but that our stated policy is now within the JCPOA,” according to Ardestani. The reason is that when nations want to fight people, their capabilities may be appropriate, and Iran’s connectivity with America and Israel requires that Iran possess nuclear weapons.
The global agreement signed in 2015 and spearheaded by former President Barack Obama is known as the” Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.” In response to Iran’s ongoing and flagrant breaches of the deal, America withdrew from it in 2018 under the previous president Donald Trump.
It is normal for the isolation system to mandate that Iran possess nuclear weapons, he claimed, adding that he did not anticipate Iran to formally declare itself a nuclear state like allied rogue government North Korea has done in a world where Russia has attacked Ukraine and Israel has attacked Gaza.
The lawmaker argued that keeping the sanctions relief associated with the remnants of the 2015 JCPOA was necessary by lying about having nuclear weapons.
Ardestani’s remarks followed comments a week ago by a senior adviser to” supreme leader” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Kamal Kharazi, that indicated Iran may soon stop claiming taht it will not pursue nuclear weapons.
” We have no decision to build a nuclear bomb but should Iran’s existence be threatened, there will be no choice but to change our military doctrine”, Kharazi was quoted as saying.
The “military doctrine” against nuclear weapons is allegedly the result of a “fatwa”, or religious edict, issued by Khamenei against nuclear arms development. Despite supporters of the JCPOA and sanctions relief for Iran claiming the “fatwa” is a form of security guarantee, Iran has never published the “fatwa” and no evidence that it exists.
IAEA chief Rafael Grossi traveled to Iran this month, and Grossi’s comments suggested that Iran might soon begin to develop nuclear weapons. Grossi then stated that the current state of nuclear inspections is” completely unsatisfactory.” Grossi appeared to chastise the Iranian officials ‘ comments in remarks to the British newspaper , The Guardian on Tuesday.
” I take it very seriously when people talk about nuclear weapons.” And I think it should stop”, Grossi said. ” We are getting closer to a situation where there is a big, huge question mark about what they are doing and why they are doing it.”
Grossi suggested that he should immediately stop attempting to inspect Iranian nuclear facilities.
” I’ve been saying that without meaningful engagement, my ability to guarantee that everything is used peacefully in Iran would be sluggish, and I might be at a point where I can no longer say that,” Grossi warned. I would draw a line at some point. The international community would have to grapple with the reality that we do n’t know what Iran may or may not have, and the nations would come to their conclusions, making this a very crucial moment.
