Democrats in Colorado are using revenue dollars to pay for free legal help for immigrants in order to increase the number of hospital seekers settling that, despite the fact that officials claim that President Joe Biden’s border issue is going against their finances.
Colorado Democrats pushed through their state-funded Immigration Legal Defense Fund in 2022, which provides free legitimate advice to newcomers seeking legal standing. The program is funded by$ 700, 000 in taxes through early 2025, up from the$ 330, 000 the program was handed in previous years.

With this additional funding, we can reduce the number of cases where deportation proceedings are conducted by one person, thereby reducing the chance of devastating family separation and reducing the number of cases where deportation proceedings are conducted alone.
Polis has made a show of deciding to bus migrants back out of Colorado despite signing the bill to increase immigration and provide free legal assistance. For instance, in January 2023, he was seen defending his decision to transport people to other states when they agreed to be relocated, and he pledged an additional$ 5 million in state funding to provide the buses, according to the Colorado Sun at the time.
