The Biden- Harris plan confirmed on Thursday that Vice President Kamala Harris will accept to participate in a VP prospect debate that CBS News will host this summer.
The schedules offered by CBS are July 23 or August 13, Harris’s group said.
In a speech obtained by ABC News, the Biden-Harris plan informed CBS News that it would like to take part in a vice presidential debate in workshop on either of those times.
The plan agreed to the discussion under the following guidelines:” It would not have an in- individual audience, that there be strong time limits for answers, different turns to talk and candidate’s microphone should only be on when it is their turn to speak”.
The Biden- Harris plan said,” We look forward to the Trump plan accepting one of these dates so that the whole conversation timeline for this plan may be set.”
However, former President Donald Trump has yet to choose a running mate. The Republican nominee for president now has consented to two disputes before the general election, one with CNN on June 27 and the other with ABC News on September 10.
Trump has previously stated that he is holding off on choosing a vice presidential candidate until the Republican National Convention ( RNC ) in mid-July.  ,
” Well, I’m not in a rush and we’ll do it sometime around the convention, but we have a lot of great people in the Republican Party”, the Republican said in an April interview with 6ABC.
