A judge in Russia’s Far East has once more refused to exchange a Yakut shaman who was infamous in the region in 2019 for his plots to move to Moscow to expel President Vladimir Putin from the Kremlin to a less stringent medical facility.
Aleksandr Gabyshev’s attorney, Aleksei Pryanishnikov, said on May 16 that he will again more appeal the judge’s decision.
Since Gabyshev was placed in a stringent office against his may in July 2021, some suggestions to move him to a general medical hospital have been rejected.
The Memorial Human Rights Organization has recognized Gabyshev as a social slave.
