The U. S. House of Representatives has asked the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA ) to send files about the faculty’s response to racism on school, after a recent aggressive pro- Arab “encampment”.
Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC), head of the House Education and Workforce Committee, has been leading investigations into a number of universities in the midst of extreme protests on college, many of which have included extreme anti-Israel and racist language, as well as reports of abuse against Israeli students and faculty since the October 7 evil attack.
Foxx has turned her attention to UCLA, where a pro-Palestinian “encampment” prevented Jewish students from entering college open spaces and was sometimes able to attend courses. The “encampment” even assaulted , editors. It was only after the mélée that the academy, position, and local government called in law enforcement after a group of about 100 pro-Israel police attacked the walls around the “encampment.”

The U. S. House Education and Workforce Committee wants the University of California, Los Angeles, to move over a sample of records ahead of next year’s hearing about school hatred.
UCLA Chancellor Gene Block is one of three college administrators set to speak at the May 23 reading, titled” Calling for Accountability: Stopping Antisemitic College Chaos”. According to the , email sent , Wednesday, the commission is investigating UCLA for “its limited response to racism and failure to protect Jewish kids”.

The committee also requests communications between campus leaders regarding the encampment, documents and communications between university administrators and students there, as well as communications between UCLA officials and local law enforcement agencies. By May 21 is the deadline for any responsive documents.
On Thursday, the committee reported , that Harvard University had been “unresponsive” to requests for information.
