Elon Musk, the co-founder of SpaceX and Tesla’s CEO, has made a daring prediction about how long humans will live on Mars and have a city built there in 30 times.
According to The Mirror, Musk boldly claimed that a human capital on Mars had become a reality in the next three years in a recent article on X/Twitter, the social media platform he owns. The 52-year-old businessman responded to a person who claimed that humanity was only a few years away from getting on the Red World by providing a timeline for this ambitious endeavor.
Musk claims that a mission to Mars without a crew may be completed in less than five years, while a decade-long human landing on the planet might be all that long. He further projected that a capital could possibly be established on Mars within 20 years, and with certainty, within 30 times, securing the future of human culture beyond Earth.
Less than 5 times for uncrewed,
less than 10 to get individuals,
even a town in 20 times,
but for certain in 30
culture secured.— Elon Musk ( @elonmusk ) May 15, 2024
One person commented:” Unbelievable for thus many…. Hoping I’ll sit another 10 ages just to see the improvement”. Another said:” Between AI, VR and then Mars? I did n’t expect any of them to happen in my lifetime. It’s very incredible”.
Although some people seem excited about the potential of a Mars area, it should be noted that Musk has a record of presenting timelines that are wildly unrealistic. The business ElonMusk. Today , provides a complete timeline of times since Elon announced a task that has yet to occur. A couple examples include:
- Since Musk stated that SpaceX would likely set up a foundation on Mars by 2028, it has been 2 065 time.
- Since Musk placed debris for a 2018 space tourism journey around the sun, it has been 2,640 days.
- 1, 852 weeks after Musk declared that there would be a million fully automatic Tesla robots in a year.
- 3, 159 days since Musk said Teslas would have 1, 000 kilometer ( 621 mile ) range within a year or two
- Since Musk predicted that SpaceX missiles could launch customers from New York to London in 29 days, it has been 242 time.
The business Musk founded in 2002, SpaceX, became the first private company to create a liquid-propulsive spacecraft that properly entered circle and the first to transport a aircraft and explorers to the International Space Station. However, it should be noted that SpaceX has not yet removed people from low-Earth trajectory.
Musk first announced the creation of Mars Oasis in 2001, a task that aimed to install a house on the planet and grow plants there.  , In a recent article away of a Falcon 9 rocket release, he emphasized that SpaceX’s goal is to “extend awareness to Mars and then the celebrities”.
