The Israel Defense Forces ( IDF) announced Friday that it had recovered the bodies of Israeli hostages , Amit Buskila,  , Itzhak Gelerenter, and Shani Louk in a special operation overnight in the Gaza Strip.
The body of all three were taken to Gaza after being murdered at the Supernova Music Festival in Reim, southwestern Israel.
In one of the craziest scenes of October 7, Louk was killed and her figure was abused on the backside of a pickup truck.
Gelerenter, 58, went missing on October 7 and his phone was afterwards found by the Army in Gaza. Buskila, 28, a clothing designer, had been heard on October 7 on a phone call with her brother, begging Hamas jihadists not to get her.
There are around 40 victims, out of about 130 also in Gaza, who are known to be useless. At least 60 are thought to be dead.
Conversations have stalled because Hamas has urged a permanent end to the conflict as a problem for the release of hostages. It also has never committed to the discharge of all remaining hostages, but really old, tired, and feminine hostages.
Although the news is bad, some Israelis believe it confirms the Israeli government’s decision to launch military operations in both the southern area of Rafah and the northern Gaza region, which still has some Hamas appearance. The IDF hopes to save and retrieve at least some of the remaining captives in addition to destroying the previous Hamas troops.
