In local events throughout the state, a Southern California church is leading a goal to baptize 30, 000 people on Sunday.
Oceans Church baptized a staggering 4, 166 people in its 2023″ Baptize California” event at Pirate’s Cove in Newport Beach, and, presently, Rev. Mark Francey is attempting to surpass its past history in many ways.
More than 300 state-wide communities have been invited to the Irvine-based church’s planned function, Francey reported to the Washington Times. Sea will contribute 85 percentage of the “million-dollar endeavor.”  ,
Temples in 54 of California’s 56 regions will be participating in the large communion events, including one set to take place at Huntington Beach, which the preacher said was ordain as many as 10, 000 individuals.  ,
” Our religion is excited about revival”, Francey told the publication. ” We want to see God awakened. We’re tired of the shadows in California. We think that God wants people to be aware of it, and that God could do something wonderful if we put our money where our stress is.
The various 15 % of the costs relating to the baptisms, which will include activities at Los Angeles’ Redondo Beach and San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, will be paid for by additional sponsors.
” This time, we can go there between 15, 000 and 30, 000 people baptized in one time, which would be the largest timed liquid communion in history that we know”, Francey said.
” We’re swinging for the border, we’re praying for the gate, and we’re preparing for it”, he added. ” We’ll letting the results remain in God’s chest, but we’re trying our best to do our area”.
Francey hopes to eventually get his job nationwide, with a” Baptize America” function set for June 2025.
” What God’s doing in California is not going to stop around”, the priest said. ” It’s going to go to all of America. Like]God ] did it in a new way as the’ Jesus People ‘ movement. We believe that if God could do that 30, 000 in California, it may occur all over America, and we’re not going to stop it”.
