Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA ), a Republican nominee for the Pennsylvania Republican Senate, was critical of his claim that he visits every county in the state annually.
McCormick criticized his rival during a press conference on Friday, where Casey claimed he traveled to “every state every year” for remarks made on May 3 during an exam on the WCHE Morning Show.
There’s no denying that there can be a great distance between elected officials and those who are making decisions about who their representatives are, Casey said in the discussion. ” But the best way for me to cope with that is to be engaged, to go to every state every year, generally, which is what I’ve done for years today”.
This was just “one of some lies,” according to McCormick, calling it “one of many lies.”

According to a report from Broad and Liberty, Casey’s strategy site on X had posts from since January 2023 that indicated the Pennsylvania lawmaker had only been to 20 counties. According to a subsequent study of Casey’s social X account, the senator had visited 39 state counties during this time.
Casey’s Instagram page and campaign website did not provide any extra vacation schedule, according to the store.
” He’s lied about being an independent voice in Washington”, McCormick added during his press call. ” In 2006, Casey said that the people of Pennsylvania expect and deserve someone who’s going to be separate, truly independent. Republicans have criticized Casey for lacking any significant influence over the course of his nearly three whole terms in the Senate.
Casey has recently been referred to as a “rubber seal” for President Joe Biden’s plan by McCormick in an interview with Breitbart News on Saturday.
