The world’s top professional golf, Scottie Scheffler, was impressive on Friday at the Valhalla Golf Club despite being detained and charged with second-degree assault on a police officer just a few hours before the start of the round.
Scheffler just made it back to the program an afternoon before he was scheduled to begin the competition. However, despite what he called the” chaotic position” surrounding his first day imprisonment by members of the Louisville, Kentucky, officers, he birdied the second opening.
He ultimately shot a five under 66 and was only two shots clear of the prospect, according to Fox News.
” Chaos” truly was an apt description of his Friday, too.
Police claim that as he ran over a police officer as he entered the league only before 9 a.m. he disregarded guidelines.

As the golf neared the doorway, the policeman stopped his car and tried to give guidelines. However, according to a police record, he claims he abruptly “refused to cooperate and accelerated forward, dragging Detective Gillis to the ground.”
The policeman was taken to the hospital for care, according to authorities, who claim he had minor injuries.
Scheffler claims that the entire incident was a miscommunication and that he did not understand what the authorities were ordering him to do when he hit the oil and his car veered forward into the agent.
” This day, I was proceeding as directed by officers soldiers”, Scheffler said in a statement. Given the tragic accident that had occurred before, it is understandable that it was a pretty chaotic situation, and there was a clear misinterpretation of what I was being asked to do. I always intended to reject any of the directions. I’m hoping to put this aside so that I can concentrate on sport today.
He continued,” Of course, all of us who participated in the event express our deepest condolences to the family of the man who died in the earlier incident this night. It really puts everyone in perspective”.
