A professor in Arkansas was given a prison sentence for having intercourse with a 17-year-old pupil she met at the university where she taught, whose pupils surprised her on national television in 2020.

In a media release Wednesday, the United States Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Arkansas said Hare was sentenced by , United States District Judge Lee P. Rudofsky, and gave more information about the situation.
According to the organization, Hare allegedly taught Family Consumer Science groups at Bryant High School where she met the target. The girl met the target on the first day of his senior season, set up counseling sessions with him, and communicated with him via Snapchat and Instagram:

Following Hare’s firing in April 2023, group members reacted, according to KARK, reporting at the time.
