Republicans may be without legal talent for the November 2024 election campaign due to the ongoing efforts to prosecute, disbar, and slander attorneys who worked as Donald Trump’s 2020 strategy.
That’s the study of some spectators, noting the new successful trials of Trump advisers Peter Navarro and Stephen K. Bannon, and the ongoing efforts to disbar Trump attorney John Eastman, among other for work.
One critic—” @amuse” — wrote on X / Twitter:
Prior to the upcoming presidential election, Democrats have forcefully targeted over 400 Republican attorneys and politicians with civil lawsuits, excommunication trials, and legal charges.
…
Liberals are pursuing various efforts to have Republican attorneys disbarred, in addition to these criminal trials. More than 100 Democratic attorneys have been charged with disqualification by the Soros-backed 65 Project, which prevents many of these attorneys from working until the trials are over. The costs lack merit in almost every case, but they have three main effects: a chilling effect that discourages other Republican attorneys and politicians from assisting Trump, a financial drain on Republicans ‘ resources who might otherwise use their funds to support Trump’s election, and a physical exhaustion that actually keeps them occupied during the battle.
…
Republicans want to keep the integrity of the vote and the purity of your voting from being compromised.
The 65 Project, among people, claims to be a “bipartisan” effort to hold professionals responsible and to “deter potential abuse of the legal system by professionals seeking to overturn genuine elections”. But it does not use to Democrats — truly not to the several state officials who have tried, in the 2024 election, to eliminate Trump from the ballot, only to be shot down 9- 0 by the U. S. Supreme Court.
Nevertheless, such efforts are effective. Trump’s attorneys in Pennsylvania resigned in November 2020 after just days after the election, under the pressure of Democratic Party activists and attorneys demanding that law enforcement agencies take legal action against anyone who represents Trump’s election challenges.
