We’re about halfway through the year, and things are about as bad at the box company as I’ve actually seen them, so Americans must have had enough of negative, preachy left-wing films.
Now, the 2024 field office is down 22 percent compared to last year, and down an amazing 42 percent compared to 2019—the next pre- epidemic year. We have now passed the pandemic by three times. The field office ought to have been back to normal. But it’s not, and we all know why: shows stink. The Woke Virus has destroyed contemporary- evening entertainment. All the kindness Hollywood enjoyed was squandered on judgmental, boring, gay, grooming functions, so we’re all staying home and looking for alternative approaches to amuse ourselves.
The combination of director John Krasinski and sun Ryan Reynolds was the goal for this weekend’s high-concept family film about imaginary friends becoming true. The$ 110 million budgeted ( not including marketing ) If was supposed to open to at least$ 40 million. It topped out at$ 35 million. Globally, it grossed a smooth$ 20 million.
It will probably need to reach$ 350 million to make money. That’s doubtful, but not difficult. After a poor Friday release, the field office improved some, which means there’s good word of mouth.
Parents may be reluctant to let their young children watch any family movies they’ve seen in the last several years after all the dangerous and cruel family films the Disney Grooming Syndicate has produced. If’s field office may have increased as a result of parents spreading the message that there is no gay intercourse or the kind of trans advertising that causes children to end up mutilating themselves for all time.
The weekend’s true moron was a documentary about late blues vocalist Amy Winehouse. Up to Black bombed out with a fatal$ 2.9 million entry. These musical plays occasionally perform, but occasionally not. Up to Black had a problem with its area. Always a big star, Winehouse. She was evidently talented and damaging, but people watch these movies because they watch concerts: to hear the songs they enjoy. How many people are familiar with the Winehouse library?
The first of a series of slasher films based on 2008’s The Strangers was the only champion of the weekend, which was a moderately successful film.
The Strangers: Chapter 1 opened to$ 12.5 million, which is n’t much, but it cost just$ 8.5 million to produce. Sections two and three have already been filmed, and they will be available by the end of the year.
After two vacation, the new World of the Apes drama has only little crossed the$ 100 million level.
Godzilla x King: The New Empire still has n’t crossed$ 200 million after eight weekends.
As often, there is plenty of information out there. Simply put, this information is not what people would expect or confidence.
