Former President Donald Trump criticized President Joe Biden over how his administration authorized the Mar-a-Lago assault, which lately emerged court documents revealed authorized deadly force, by former presidents of both parties.
The FBI’s August 2022 raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago substance was based on information that the FBI had obtained on Tuesday. Trump defended it as confirmation that Biden was emotionally unfit for office and a threat to the United States in a post on Truth Social.
” WOW! HE IS MENTALLY UNFIT TO HOLD OFFICE— 25TH AMENDMENT”!
In a judge submitting from Trump’s lawyer Todd Blanche, he outlined the attempt to raid Trump’s element.
” The Order contained a ‘ Policy Statement’ regarding’ Use Of Deadly Force,’ which stated, for case,’ Law enforcement officers of the Department of Justice does use lethal force when necessary”, he wrote. ” The officials planned to bring’ Standard Issue Weapon]s],’ ‘ Ammo,’ ‘ Handcuffs,’ and
‘ medium and big sized pin cutters,’ but they were instructed to don’ unknown shirt or collared
shirts ‘ and to maintain’ law enforcement gear concealed.'”
The FBI claimed in a speech to the Washington Examiner that it had a” conventional policy speech” written on the search warrant for Trump’s home.
The FBI adhered to common method for this search, which includes a standard plan speech limiting the use of lethal force, as we do for all search warrants. No single requested further action, and there was no deviation from the law in this situation, according to the organization.
The remarks were made in response to testimony made by former FBI Washington Field Office director Steven D’Antuono in a testimony before Congress in June.
