President Joe Biden appeared to have difficulty pronouncing the name of the policy during a discourse in New Hampshire on Tuesday discussing the Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics ( PACT) Act.
Biden praised the PACT Act‘s success, which made veterans who were exposed to fire pits, Agent Orange, or other dangerous substances eligible for more benefits and access to health care. On August 10, 2022, the PACT Act became rules.
As he was closing out his statement, Biden seemed to man the name of the PACT Act, referring to it as the “pacandlpacatlackack”.
” Let me close with this”, Biden said. The most people most in charge of the policy, the widow and her child of a overdue Sgt., I handed the pencil and I signed it with a wiszzfschuna, who signed it. First Class Heath Robinson”.

At the beginning of Biden’s talk, he referenced his youngest and late brother, Beau Biden, who died from brain cancer in May 2015, about six years after he had served in Iraq.
Fire pits are frequently linked to Biden’s son’s brain cancer.
” I’m happy to reveal the VA only granted its one thousandth PACT Act claim, one thousandth. It’s a big step, providing$ 5.7 million in rewards to 890, 000 soldiers and their people so far in hand, including 3, 000 here in New Hampshire”, Biden said. It matters because too many company people have fought on the front lines while even breathing poisonous fumes and getting burned in fire pits.
Biden continued to add that his brother, Beau, was “one of those soldiers” who had been exposed to dangerous pollutants from fire pits.
” So, this is specific to me and my home, and to his home and his children”, Biden added.
Since Biden had signed the legislation, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA ) announced in a press release on Tuesday that it was anticipating” to grant its one millionth PACT-related disability compensation claims to Veterans.”
