President Joe Biden promptly fixed a previous error in a statement on Monday, in which he fraudulently claimed that an British prisoner “being held by Hamas” is now healthy.
The president made the blunder during a party of Jewish identity at the White House, recognizing Hersh Goldberg-Polin as being “here with us now” despite the fact that he is still held by Hamas.
” My administration is working tirelessly to release the victims who have already been released, only as we have done so before. Hersh Goldberg- Polin is also present with us now, according to Biden at the grew garden party.
The president immediately corrected himself, saying,” He is not here with us, but he is still being held by Hamas”.

According to the New York Post, two Israeli citizen Goldberg-Polin “is one of the five known Americans nevertheless held by Hamas jihadists after being abducted from southern Israel on October 7.”
” The 23- yr- ancient abductee had one of his fingers amputated following his suicide as a result of injury suffered during the attacks that killed about 1, 200 people, including at least 33 Americans”, it wrote.
In a advertising film from April, Hamas also screened Goldberg-Polin.
