Following the terrorist attacks against Israel on October 7, the countries of Ireland, Norway, and Spain announced on Wednesday that they would recognize a Arab position, prompting Israel to appoint its ministers from all three.
According to The Times of Israel, Hamas stated in its statement:” We think this is a significant step in confirming our right to our land,” and it called on “on countries all over the world to recognize our reputable national rights.
Israel Katz, the country’s foreign minister, announced on Twitter that Israel would be calling in its ministers from all three countries for interviews and that it would also summon the ministers from all three businesses for punishments.
In a press release, official for the Israeli government David Mencer stated that all three nations had likewise maintained neutrality during the Second World War. ( Norway was also occupied by Nazi Germany and resisted, with Allied help. )
He added that Ireland’s president at the time had condolled Nazi Germany after Adolf Hitler’s murder. Also, he said, these countries were properly endorsing the terrorism and homicidal intention of Hamas.
It was “obscene”, he said, to encourage Hamas’s violence with Israeli sovereignty. ” It is a reward. The information will go out far and wide to all criminal agencies” that murder, murder, and other crimes would succeed, he said.
Israel has long argued that the only way to a Palestinian condition is through intergovernmental negotiations to resolve issues like the borders and investment of such a position, disarmament, refugee claims settlement, and other issues.
No indications exist as to what the composition of a Palestinian state may be, whether it be a republic or an Islamist extreme dictatorship. There is also no guarantee that it wo n’t immediately support the Iranian government.
A Palestinian position has always existed. After a number of failed uprisings, the Roman Empire applied the name” Palestine” to what was previously known as Judea and to what Jews called Israel.
Prior to the First World War, the region was under the control of a number of empires, before the British split Palestine into Transjordan ( now Jordan ) in the east and Palestine, west of the Jordan River.
The United Nations voted in 1947 to split the British Mission of Palestine into two states, one Israeli and one Muslim. The Muslim officials rejected the plan, while the Israeli officials embraced it and declared independence in 1948.
In an effort to annihilate Israel, the nearby Egyptian state invaded it. Israel won the war, and gained province. The design kept repeating itself for generations. Arabs in Palestine carried out terrorist strikes against Israel, with the same outcome.
Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization agreed to establish the Palestinian Authority in the Oslo Peace Accords of 1993. However, Yasser Arafat, the head of the Palestinians, rejected a 2000 deal that would have produced a true condition.
Otherwise, he launched a new intifada , in which over 1, 000 Israelis were murdered. Despite the fact that many Israelis nonetheless supported a Palestinian state, the open changed after Palestinians converted Gaza, the country’s original location, into a terrorist launch pad in 2005.
In response to the October 7 attacks, Israel has argued that recognizing a Palestinian state would encourage Hamas for its terror and stoke a wave of additional terrorist attacks against Israel and the West as well.
