NEW DELHI: In a tragic event on Tuesday night, a person who was out jogging in Mannedorf, Switzerland, was mortally attacked by a naked male in Alma Park near Lake Zurich. According to the Zurich municipal authorities, the incident took place about 20 kilometers south of Zurich.
Witnesses reported seeing a man “running around naked, screaming and physically attacking other people” shortly before 8: 00 pm ( 1800 GMT ).
Emergency personnel quickly arrived at the scene and discovered a severely injured person lying on the ground. Despite urgent treatment work, the female succumbed to her injury.
A 19-year-old European suspect who was discovered at the picture has been taken into custody by police. Both the target and the suspect’s names are now being looked into.
Officials are also looking into the circumstances surrounding the strike and whether there was any previous evidence linking the perpetrator and the target.
The arrested suspect may be referred to the common attorney for serious violent crime following police questioning.
The event has shocked the neighborhood, and more information are anticipated to be revealed as the investigation progresses.
