DONNA, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — A woman is being held without bond after she was caught entering the U. S. with more than 200 pounds of meth, documents revealed.
Records indicate that Ruth Norali Morales was detained on a cost of ownership with the intention to deliver a controlled material.
A legal complaint claims that on Wednesday, Morales entered the U. S. driving a 2007 Dodge Ram at the Donna International Bridge. During a supplementary observation, a dog alerted to the presence of medication.
31 boxes were concealed within the truck’s ground sleep during an inspection, according to the problem.
The boxes contained a diamond- like compound that tested positive for meth. In overall, the boxes weighed 208 pounds. Morales claimed in an interview that she had a suspicion that the car was loaded with improper items.
” Morales stated she was going to be paid$ 650 upon successful delivery of the vehicle to Dallas, Texas”, the complaint stated.
Morales made her first court appearance on Thursday night. May 28 is the day of a detention reading. She is still unattached.
