
CAIRO: A Palestinian captain who was captured on October 7 was being held by Hamas on Thursday, according to Israel, who had previously been reported to have been killed in the attacks that day.
Colonel Asaf Hamami was injured during his record, according to the Hamas armed aircraft Al Qassem Brigades. He was not identified as also dead, and it did not provide any evidence. A battalion chief named Hamami, 41, was reported by the Israeli military months back as having been killed in the attacks on October 7 and had been buried in Gaza.
