After Ressa, who delivered the initiation address, used racist speech in her speech, Harvard Chabad Rabbi Hirschy Zarchi confronted Nobel prize Maria Ressa backstage at the university’s completion on Thursday.
Despite making provocative notes about the Gaza battle that some people deemed racist, Ressa was chosen as the speaker. The Washington Free Beacon reported that Ressa had, for instance, compared Israel to Nazi Germany.
Ressa addressed students to issue a warning to them about how “fascists and rulers” can use social media to influence “fascists and tyrants” to get democratic elections. She alleged that Silicon Valley “tech bros” were to blame for the propaganda that informed the Capitol rioters on January 6, 2021, and made up the plot idea that” Russian propaganda” swung the 2016 presidential election to Trump.
She therefore addressed reviewers who had criticized her actions as racist, claiming that she had been” called racist by power and money because they want power and money.”
The important piece of her notes is the first to be viewed in the movie below:

Rabbi Zarchi contacted her after her address to understand what she had said about “power and cash.” He left the stage because he was unhappy with her reply. The movie below shows the start of the conflict:

Rabbi Zarchi after told the , Harvard Crimson , that Ressa refused to understand her opinions:
Due to the ongoing ceremony, Zarchi said he could not effectively notice Ressa’s response, but instead made the decision to leave the stage when it became evident that she would not comply with his request to define her statements in public. During the prayer delivered by Pusey Minister Matthew Ichihashi Potts, Zarchi, who was initially seated on step, was seen leaving.
…
Zarch criticized Ressa’s help for the kids in a statement, arguing that she had ignored how the kids had “hijacked” the Commencement service to help protesters who had , violated Harvard plans. The scholar listeners had both deviated from the text they had provided to the University in an effort to show support for sanctioned learners.
…
It would have been nice to have at least one listener who spoke in support of the disgraceful and violent speakers, he wrote.
Before, as many as 1, 000 pro- Arab demonstrators walked out of the initiation festival in protest.
