On Thursday at the White House, President Joe Biden and Kenyan President William Ruto are scheduled to hold a combined press conference.
In a position festival earlier this morning, the U.S. president and first lady Jill Biden welcomed their Kenyan counterparts.
As Ruto’s visit may mark the 60th anniversary of U.S. diplomatic relations and the first state visit by an American president in more than 15 years, Biden praised Ruto for his “bold management.”
The two presidents released a joint declaration to mark the tenth anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and set out objectives for upcoming politics.
Biden is anticipated to notify Congress that he will define the American nation as a significant non-NATO ally. This title comes with exclusive privileges.
