The July 4th general election has been dubbed the “immigration vote” by Reform UK, and it has launched an attack on the two tradition parties, which have seen” More individuals… come to this country in the past 25 years than in all of history before that.”
Reform UK, previously Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party, launched its general election campaign on Thursday in front of a stylized time curve that depicts emigration to Britain as small and steady for the entirety of American history, from 1066 to 1997 before undergoing a significant vertical increase. The Reform speakers made it clear that the plan would focus specifically on that, moving into the vacuum created by Labour and the Conservatives, neither of whom have much to say about rising rates of mass movement.
Given that the Party appears to have released almost as many attack advertising against Reform as it has their main rivals Labour in the first 24 hours of the plan, it is already obvious that highlighting the Conservatives ‘ border control track record is seriously embarrassing to them. After all, The Liberals won three elections in a row with the intention to reduce net migration from tens of thousands to one million every 18 months.
Campaign materials revealed at the start did tell the community:” Who voted for mass migration? Who cast additional ballots for hundreds of thousands? Who promised to bring the quantities down to tens of thousands, but lied? The Tories have ruined Britain, and Labour may cause even more mass movement. But there is an alternative, simply Reform UK likely thaw immigration”.

Party leader Richard Tice hammered home the well- stretched point that, on the fundamentals, there is n’t a great deal of difference between the remaining- wing Labour Party, which is polled to earn the July 4th election, and the apparently right- wing Conservatives, who in practice have governed as crypto left- centrist globalists despite the rhetoric. He said:” The alternative for anyone is whether you vote Tory or if you vote Labour, you’ll get the same form of socialism. You will get higher fees, lower wages, and large multiculturalism that will make us all worse off, and our quality of life may diminish”.
Both group leaders Tice and Ben Habib, both entrepreneurs, made similar points in their wider analysis of the Blair era’s decades of decline and its heirs in David Cameron’s re-imagined Conservative Party. Tice said:
…all these professionals. Well if they’re so professional, and I just want you to think … how come we’ve ended up with the highest fees in 70 years, the highest federal spending, much of it wasted, with the worst public sector results in 70 years. The highest waiting lists since records began, 70 years ago. The highest debt in 70 years, the lowest growth decade in 70 years. You’re getting the picture! And the longest recession per person in 70 years, and per person is what matters. Everyone feels worse off after 14 years of Tory failure, and do people feel better or worse off?
Likewise, Habib intoned:
The country is in dire straights. highest taxation since world war two, GDP growth that has never been seen before, longest GDP per capita recession in recorded history, and immigration that has been on the verge of record. In the last 25 years, more people have visited this nation than anywhere else in history. An inability to enforce our borders, and I could go on, and on, and on.
According to reports, the Conservatives have already discussed illegal immigration in this election campaign this week, making an incredible effort to distinguish between them and their Labour challengers at the ballot box. Nothing is said about the escalating legal immigration, which the Conservative government allowed by opening the border, despite the fact that Labour would end the Rwanda migrant deterrent scheme while the Tories promise to at least try.
As reported on Thursday:
The Conservative Party has long professed to be a party of border control to the public and promised to do so in the tens of thousands, or less than 100, 000, of net migration annually, in several elections in a row. Instead of significantly liberalizing immigration laws after Brexit, the party instead imported one million new people net every 18 months.
…]the Prime Minister said ]  ,” …it is we Conservatives, only we Conservatives who have that plan, who are prepared to take that bold action to ensure that better future for our country”, begging the question why in 14 years of power it had n’t occurred to them to start until now.
Sunak was unable to boast of any accomplishments or even promise a plan to control legal immigration, which accounts for the majority of arrivals and is at its all-time highs after the Tories threw the borders wide open…
