Only a year after her older brother set the record for the youngest student to student from Irvine Valley College, an 11-year-old California woman has broken the record.
The graduation ceremony for Athena Elling, who had been a part of other students ‘ lives last week, was captured on FOX 11 Los Angeles cameras as she crossed the stage .
After happily accepting her Liberal Arts associate’s degree, she casually told the shop,” I’m really, truly happy and excited because I got to hit my brother’s document”.
Her nephew, Tycho, became the youngest student to graduate from Irvine next time, even at 11 — but at the moment he was six weeks older than Athena is.
According to the newest Elling graduate, Tycho has been” chill” about it.  ,
” I do n’t think he cares that much”, Athena said with a smile.
Christina Chow, the mother of the dominating siblings, claimed she always made her children attend college at quite a young age. They just love learning.  ,
She pleaded with me to sign her up for more groups. She wants to get another associate’s. Two other affiliates. I really think she wants to do everything, she has that kind of power to explore”, the beaming mother told the place.  ,
In addition to studying, Athena has now landed herself a model plan, plays piano, sings, dances, and has a next- level black belt in taekwondo.  ,
” I really want to be an actress or maybe like a divorce attorney, ]or ] an allergist, because I myself have allergies and eczema”, she told reporters when asked what her career plans are.
She will always have that assurance and experience as a young university student, no matter what she decides to do.  ,
